Doh moment. Watching a DS9 episode where Sisko, Odo and Worf go on a mission disguised as a Klingon. I was thinking, damn that’s a convincing Klingon disguise. Then it struck me that all Klingons are humans in Klingon disguise. And in Odo’s case, a Klingon disguise swapped for a Changeling disguise.
Screen media are fun for thinking about abstraction levels.
