Turned on whoop integration to Apple health and it is dumb. It added a step count to apple’s own so it double counted, since I walk with my phone 🙄
You either average or overwrite or some other plausibly sensible sensor fusion. Not straight up add.
Luckily it does one write per day so I could just delete that entry.
Whoop itself has an annoying opinion about not tracking steps. It prefers to lock you into its proxy “strain” metric.
I think I’ll quit whoop after this year and get an Apple watch.
