Kanuni Sultan Süleyman (Suleiman the Magnificent) was the 10th and longest-reigning Ottoman sultan (1520–1566). He expanded the empire to its peak, conquering parts of Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. Known as "Kanuni" (the Lawgiver) for his legal reforms, he also promoted arts, architecture, and culture, leaving a lasting legacy in Ottoman history.

Fatih Sultan Mehmet (Mehmed the Conqueror) was the 7th Ottoman sultan, ruling from 1444–1446 and 1451–1481. He is best known for conquering Constantinople in 1453, ending the Byzantine Empire and transforming the city into Istanbul, the new Ottoman capital. His reign marked the empire's expansion into Europe and Asia, and he was a strong military strategist and patron of the arts and sciences.
