can someone please tell me if my already existing data will be fine without this “expiring” storage? 💞likes —I would never be able to buy enough storage for because my hearts are freely abundant because I love y’all so fucking much 💞 😘🫶🏻💕💕💕

Okay so from my many convos with the team on storage. When it expires all the casts that exist in that block will be removed from the protocal. When it comes to casts that are written after the storage is full then you will start losing and writing over casts that were already in existence starting from the oldest that exist. Since merkle has allowed for rollover on storage for a little this is the first time many of us are dealing with expiration. I wonder if @sinaver.eth can chime in on it a bit more since his mini app does deal with storage as well. All and all I hope that sheds some light on the situation. Many of us have given up on keeping or paying for more storage and just letting the casts live on as “temporary art” It will again be interesting to see with the @base.base.eth and coining that is going on and I know that using alternative solutions like @paragraph can be extremely helpful too.
