Layer 2 solutions aren’t competing only for transactions—they’re competing for ecosystems. Optimism’s superchain concept, Arbitrum’s liquidity dominance, and zkSync’s scaling progress each bring unique approaches. Long-term value will accrue to those with both developer adoption and user retention. Pay attention to where stablecoins and liquidity pools migrate first.
