Impermanence is ironically a steady foundation to build one's spirit upon. The passage of time unbiasedly wipes away all incremental progress and undoes human tragedies scrap by scrap, if left on its own.
On a grander scale we should strive to live true to ourselves and exercise our limited agency to improve.
