base’s growth without a token is literally one of the most insane things happening onchain right now. like people don’t even realize how wild this is. base is doing L1-level metrics… as an L2… with zero token incentives. the numbers aren’t normal at all: – no token – no airdrop – no liquidity mining programs nothing …and still: – highest DAUs – high transactions – mainstream culture – consumer apps - biggest mainstream apps – revenue up only – TVLs are increasing – 3 ATHs in 48 hrs. most chains with a token still can’t hit these numbers. @base did it with culture, product and distribution alone. number 1 isnt even a matter of if but a matter of when.
