I will never understand this take. Few thoughts: - conferences cost many millions of dollars to host - so many unseen costs that general public doesn't see (insurance, temps, permitting, security, food, dealing with cities, dealing with unions, etc) - venues are booked years in advance

Directly after Arbitrum all was still well in Airdrop Land: Jito, Wormhole, Manta Galxe, Tensor, Jupiter, even getting Celestia through L2 footprint (and then staking it for Dymension) were all very easy to hit w/ sensible criteria It went downhill in epic proportions after Wormhole airdropped though
