Tapir is a large herbivorous mammal found in the rainforests of Central and South America, as well as in Southeast Asia. Tapirs have a unique appearance, with short legs and a large, tapering nose, which they use as a trunk to grab food. These animals prefer moist forest areas and reservoirs, where they can easily move around and find food. Tapirs are excellent swimmers and often spend time in the water, which helps them cool down and avoid predators. The diet of tapirs includes leaves, fruits and herbs. These animals play an important role in ecosystems, contributing to the spread of plant seeds. There are four species of tapirs, and all of them are under threat due to habitat loss and hunting.
One of the rare and amazing animals is the seahorse, or skimmer, whose scientific name is Hippocampus. These tiny seahorses from the Syngnathidae family attract attention with their unique appearance and unusual lifestyle.
