All this talk about ICO and how extractive they are,Back in 2017/2018 when the ICO craze really took off there was a new scam everyday,i aped into so many shitty projects that slow rugged me. Maybe 2-3 tops out of the 100+ that were active, turned out profitable. Back then no one held projects accountable, they could never pull off that blatant scam today. ICO today are 10x better now.

One of the biggest challenges protocols face when doing airdrop are Bots and Sybil farms. However there might be a solution. I remember seeing there was someone who had 250k addresses on Zksync but still they couldn't remove them all, no matter what criteria they added. The more criteria they added, users with one wallet gets rekt and the sybils still won. But what if we had @idOS_network and Ethos as the eligibility criteria? Ethos with social credibility score and soon Onchain footprint score. Idos with Proof of humanity without exposing your personal details, fully decentralized. How many bots/Sybil would that mitigate? 80-90%? A new standard is needed, and with Ethos still semi gated it will take time to get there. But it's clear as day that we need to move to a social cerdibilty, onchain footprint and Zkproof KYC hybrid model.
