🚨 Phishing Attacks Targeting MetaMask! A new dangerous scam is actively spreading online. 🔴 Scammers are posing as “MetaMask security verification” or “2FA activation” 🔴 Users are redirected to fake websites with look-alike domains 🔴 A fake 2FA security screen appears with countdown timers and urgent warnings 🔴 At the final step, victims are asked to enter their seed phrase ➡️ Once the seed phrase is entered, the wallet is fully compromised ⚠️ Important: MetaMask will NEVER ask for your seed phrase — not on websites, not via email, and not through pop-ups. ✅ What you need to remember: 🟣 MetaMask does NOT use 2FA — any “2FA activation” message is a scam 🟣 A seed phrase is entered only when restoring a wallet, and only inside MetaMask 🟣 Always open your wallet manually via the official MetaMask website or browser extension ℹ️ There are no “urgent security checks” in crypto. If someone rushes you or asks for your seed phrase — it’s a scam.
