Wrapped up Devcon week with a 14hr sleep sprint, writing this thread as I pull up my sleeves with a nice strong coffee sitting on my desk ready for Monday
Here are my top impressions of last week:
- We finally have all the right infra and there are several apps I met through the week building on interesting ideas
- There is an uptick of new and interesting infra/mechanism-designs now aimed at serving the needs of applications, scaling is no longer top of mind for most devs and instead interop, chain-abstraction are top of mind for app-devs
- People are bullish regulatory clarity due to trump winning and expecting real US based users to use their apps (I dont know true this is)
- Expect more chains, alot more, every app is either launching a chain or is thinking about one, this is good and natural, shared-chains are unnatural
I leave this devcon having strong conviction that the world is coming onchain, its only a matter of when and not if.
Chain-Abstraction is inevitable.
