Although an uptrend in PlayStation's success doesn't directly affect crypto prices, I'd say gaming has played a role in popularizing Web3. I can imagine potential game development funding using cryptocurrency in the near future and cross-platform trading through DeFi solutions - can anyone say blockchain-based in-game collectibles are not in Sony's cards.
