Is there safe leverage for inexperienced operators?
For inexperienced operators, the only "safe" leverage is 1x (no leverage at all). Leverage is a sophisticated tool that requires deep expertise in risk management, market monitoring, and AVS due diligence. An inexperienced operator is unlikely to accurately model their risk of ruin, dynamically manage their position in volatile markets, or understand the nuances of cross-collateralization. For them, leverage simply amplifies their existing knowledge gaps and operational weaknesses, turning a potential learning experience into a total capital loss. The steep learning curve of restaking itself is significant; adding leverage on top is an unnecessary and dangerous complication for a novice.
