## Why are we doing this?
Because $HUNT should land in the hands of real web3 builders - the ones who show up, ship, and support each other.

## What’s Hunt Town?
We started in late 2017, and the $HUNT token launched in early 2019.
Since then, we’ve been building dozens of web3 products - failing, learning, and trying again.
Along the way, we realized something: building in web3 can feel isolating. It’s noisy out there, but real builders often go unnoticed.
So we decided to create a space for them - a guild where builders back each other, share the grind, and grow together.
That's Hunt Town. No hype, just builders helping builders. 46 replies

I haven’t made cookies in a long time, but my partner has been asking for them. Cookies were the first thing I learned to cook/bake. I later took a cooking class in high school and wanted to go to culinary school to eventually become a pastry chef. My dad demanded I go into engineering, so I settled for computer science at UC Berkeley. He kicked me out anyway. Learning to cook instantly became a necessity rather than a passion. Eventually my life somewhat stabilized and cooking for fun came back, to an extent. It’s still a necessity, since eating out is expensive and unhealthy, and it takes a lot of mental lift to plan, prep, and cook, especially after long days in front of my computer. I often wonder how my life would have turned out if I pursued that passion from the start. I know it’s not too late, but I’m older and tired and just don’t have it in me to risk such a life change. Regardless, I have a deep appreciation for food, from hole in the walls to Michelin stars, from seed to plate. 4 replies
