As everyone’s said, it was a strange year for crypto. Plenty got rekt and left; those who stayed often took losses too. I somehow clawed back from -30% off the 2025 ATH to just -14%, ending not far from where I started.
But it wasn’t a total waste - I’m framing my losses as investments (until proven otherwise 🫠). DCA’d into BERA, XPL, OPEN, and LDO - no more than 5% of portfolio, no stress 😉. Grabbed some NFTs in Cosmos eco (remember this one?), on Plasma and Monad. Rented nodes, burned fees in campaigns... This could pay off in 2026. Or not 🙃
Next year’s my drop and ICO season: OpenSea, MetaMask, Espresso, Mezo, Gensyn, Makina, USD AI, some others. Not sure about profits - I guess, you never do upfront. But now I won’t miss something like Plasma’s 9k XPL bonus for the participation in their ICO (well, it’s still possible, just way less likely).
Don’t miss the new opportunities. Market conditions or not - you can still hit the jackpot. Good luck in 2026!
