@base.base.eth is changing how apps work within the ecosystem.
Here's the highlight:
⚙️ End of @farcaster mini-apps
Starting April 9th, Base App will stop supporting the Farcaster mini-app spec and the Neynar infrastructure.
🌐 Transition to standard web apps
Applications will now work as standard web apps with a wallet connection—no custom SDKs required.
🛠 Base.dev for developers
A unified platform will be created for managing:
• app metadata
• notifications
• distribution within Base App
🔔 New notification system
Apps will be able to send notifications directly to users' wallet addresses.
📊 New in-app format
The Farcaster social feed will disappear - it will be replaced by a trading feed, copytrading, and leaderboards.
