Kalshi and predictions aren’t the problem, and since you can’t stop something once it’s making money for someone it’s as good as done. Same thing with gambling, you can’t cure addiction through a screen. Wether it’s shoes, porn, drugs, horse racing, sports betting it’s all the same and it’s here to stay. What we need to do is embrace the aberrant behavior by leveraging the asymmetric advantage. Think sports betting or gambling but instead of losing money, the platform actually invests that money you “lost” into your own personal savings account where you are unable to withdraw any of it before a certain amount of time, all the while it compounds in value automatically from the accrued interest. That way you still get your rocks off bec you can’t touch the money so you’ve technically “lost it” to your own savings account that will be worth much more in a month automatically when you withdraw the money you
