indeed directories/folders were always a skeuomorphism from the file cabinet era knowledge graphs alone might lean too much on the opposite side of the spectrum: too loose and fragmented across sources. thereโ€™s a sweet spot in the middle where nodes and edges in subgraphs are aggregated to have contextual meaning. the tooling isnโ€™t there yet though. there will always be a need to have collections of collections and label/name them

How about whole system metaprogramming? What if we had meta-modeling infrastructure in which all domains โ€” e.g. code, configuration, schema, persistence, APIs โ€” share a reflection-capable symbolic system?
