My mental model of how farcaster works needs updating. I still don't grok how actions, like follows or reactions, work. Looking at the JSON from addressActivity I don't see any place for actions to be recorded. I thought they would just be stored the same as posts.

Time for more building. Been thinking all night about how completely owning your data and social graph can do amazing things for a community. Not to mention if the community has total control of its finances too. Big big things are possible. New versions of DAOs!

So I registered the username 'tris' directly on the farcaster smart contract. I thought it would be kinda fun to see how it worked, and to try different calls for a lark. That may have been a mistake...
