I was in that Nepali discord group on the day that they voted for the interim PM. It was a mess. People were mostly confused. It was not organised at all. The members were mostly kids. But they were filled with a determination to set a new course for their country. There were pretty wild ideas like completely changing the constitution, and some very wacky candidates. But the young people chose the best person for the job. Still, discord is just a part of it. The wider conversation happened over Reddit and TikTok.
