Fortnite's drastically diminished Save the World XP rewards was a bug, Epic says, but now it's fixed. Epic Games says a recent change to Fortnite Save the World that drastically cut back on the XP players could earn was in fact a bug, and the issue is being fixed. The trouble came to light yesterday when players discovered that Epic had apparently made a change to the XP cap on Save the World, the original Fortnite PvE experience. Fortnite Save the World is pretty much an afterthought at this point, long ago left in the dust of Fortnite Battle Royale, but players can still use it to earn progress in Fortnite overall. As Forbes explains, players could previously earn multiple levels per day from playing Save the World, but with the start of Chapter 6 Season 1, it was cut to a total of nine levels per week, a drastic reduction.

Master Chief and Commander: It's Halo 3 but with boats and a naval battle against a Scarab. Who knows where the germ of an idea for some mods comes from but with, ahem, Pimps at Sea I can take a wild guess: "What if Halo 3 but with boats?" Well, what if? Available now on the Steam workshop, Pimps at Sea lets you get nautical with the Halo 3 toolbox in a co-op mission set across some tropical islands infested with Covenant. The twist of course is that two big 'ol boats are sailing in big lazy loops in and around these islands, and any enterprising Spartan can hop on board. I mean… it's not complex, but it is a lot of fun. You ride about while a very good Sergeant Johnson impersonator barks out orders, climb the mast and take pot-shots, fire cannons at things, and if you fancy hop off and engage the Covenant forces with a plethora of vehicles.

Fortnite's latest season lets players morph into lethal demon hunters who defy gravity and the God of Destruction himself, Godzilla. The next Fortnite Chapter is set to go live this Saturday, and there are a ton of new features ready to launch alongside it, including a new battle pass, movement mechanics, and maps. Honestly, everything that's on offer in Chapter 6 Season 1 actually looks seriously cool. Although it would be pretty hard to miss with a season called Demon Hunters. "As the wind blows, the sun rises on a beautiful new island, shrouded in mystery and mystical energy," an Epic Games blog post says. "In its darkest corners, demons dwell, wreaking havoc with their masks of chaotic power. Great heroes must rise to drive back the ancient evils that roam this land. Become a ronin and cut through the darkness to find the light in Fortnite Battle Royale."

Be safe out there: long-suffering Bloodborne fans are in hysterics over a new PlayStation ad. It's time to log off for the week because Sony has referenced Bloodborne in a new trailer celebrating PlayStation's 30th year anniversary. The trailer—a typically grandiose Sony affair—references many other PlayStation games too, ranging from first-party stuff like The Last of Us and God of War, through to third-party games like Batman and Resident Evil. Each featured game is accompanied by text encapsulating one of its themes: Metal Gear Solid 3 is "about honor", for example, and The Last of Us is "about love". God of War is "about family", while Spider-Man is "about sacrifice". And so what: it's just a trailer celebrating a platform's 30th anniversary, and won't be very interesting to anyone except people who love PlayStation and advertising.

Actor Clifton Duncan has spoken out against the agenda being pushed and the insults being directed at actors by their audience Actor Clifton Duncan, who starred in the TV series Elementary, Flesh and Bone, The Good Fight, and a number of other projects, expressed his strong indignation regarding the so-called "woke era" and the fact that now many actors allow themselves to insult the mainstream audience, currying favor with minorities: Today, many actors do not perform for the general public, but fight for the approval of their colleagues and minorities among Americans who think the same way as they do. That's why they think they have the right to insult you - you are on the wrong side of history. What amazes me is that it seems that no PR person has been smart enough to make them stop pushing this on consumers.

Deception Revealed: Japanese Ubisoft Consultant Who Criticized Players for Yasuke Turns Out to Be a Sweet Baby Inc Employee As it became known, users have revealed more manipulations by Ubisoft regarding Assassin's Creed: Shadows. Recently, Japanese "expert" and consultant for Ubisoft, Kazuma Hashimoto, said in an interview with the New York Times that criticism of the game is allegedly spread only by people in the West who use a translator and misinterpret the words of the Japanese, and the Japanese themselves "were not upset that the game presents Yasuke as the main character and a samurai." However, users managed to find that Hashimoto, judging by his LinkedIn profile, is a former employee of Sweet Baby Inc, having worked there from February 2020 to April 2023, i.e. almost the entire time of active development of Assassin's Creed: Shadows.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard Drowning in Dislikes: Bioware's Inclusive Character Editor Called Disgraceful Last week, Bioware Studios gave a number of publications the opportunity to publish a preview of the upcoming Dragon Age: The Veilguard. The preview, among other things, showed the character editor, which was massively criticized by users, and the resulting characters turned into memes. At the moment, the preview with the character editor is drowning in dislikes: 5 thousand likes against 20 thousand dislikes. Users criticized the inclusive editor from Bioware, in which the slider for the size of the buttocks and breasts does not change anything, but the player is allowed to customize the pronoun, get vitiligo, but the most absurd thing is that plastic surgery has apparently appeared on Thedas, since the character can have his mammary glands removed:
