Montreal builds micro community gardens into the street! Obviously lovely to look at, but I can imagine this provides a traffic calming effect on the road and helps to cool down the street. and adds another reason for people to gather in the streets! Nyc mostly has dedicated parcel lots for community gardens and doesn’t integrate them into the street like this. More of what Montreal is doing pleaseee

As a New Yorker - I think Montreal is a cooler city. The vibes are just off the charts.

Queens i noticed is more subtle. Conversely watched this lady seamlessly transition across 4 different languages in the span of a minute to run her grocery store. 2 dialects of Chinese, English, and Spanish

My 3 y/o daughter knows the words to Twinkle Little Star in 2 more languages than I do.. one being English
