try to argue against content coins from first principles.

if a video on tiktok has millions of views, it has value.

why should a single platform control that value?
why shouldn't that value be explicit?
why shouldn't the creator benefit from that value?

seems good to me.

The all or nothing conversations around everything-is-a-coin is exhausting and borderline disingenuous 

There are real and legitimate reasons this isn’t a good fit for some people. It doesn’t feel like the coin-everything side wants to listen with genuine interest.

FWIW, on the timeline it looked to me more like hard push for one size fits all. I must have missed an OP for context but I think that still matters. There is a whole cohort of artists kind of flailing after recent changes. They might be missing context too

I don't think anyone is advocating to force people to coin their content? I'm definitely not. people can choose to do what they want. 

I just think it shouldn't be something that people say is bad or immoral
