https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/blog/windows-itpro-blog/introducing-a-unified-future-for-app-updates-on-windows/4416354 | For self-updating apps, this will provide a way for your app's Update.exe to hook into a system-wide update scheduler. Should replace Task Scheduler and custom update services.

I had a dream last night where Willem Dafoe let himself into my house and dipped himself a bowl of beef roast from the crock pot on the kitchen counter. He turned to me, bowl in hand, and handed me an envelope. He gave a smile and wink, and left out the door. Inside the envelope was $100.

Daily driving the arm64 Surface Pro for idk how many months has been mostly good, except I can't get a containerized arm64 build of MSSQL for local dev, and I don't think I can x64-emulate containers on WSL.

You need proof-of-meat that is intrinsic to the content, not a captcha or puzzle challenge that can be validated separately. What's something that bots can't do, like send physical mail? If I copied a GPT response onto a sheet of paper and dropped it in the mail, does that count as AI? Or for proof-of-machine I'm thinking of a product like Yahoo Answers, but you only have n seconds to submit an A, and Q is not known so a human can't pre-draft, and they don't have enough time to copy/paste into an LLM. But the Q/A itself is the content, not a challenge for something else.

It's a way to prevent token theft and reuse. Client generates a keypair and signs the auth request and subsequent API requests.
