We used to just call it the "social contract", but I think that was too limiting because it wasn't really so specifically detailed like a contract, so it's never been possible to actually enforce... as well as having a lack of proper representation in the drafting of it.
What we're able to build with Blockchain is actual social contracts that represent true informed consensus.
The heart of economic activity is trade, and trade is built on trust. Trust is a representation of consensus.
