Because I always workout very early in the morning, I have eggs with sauteed potatoes & peppers with a small cup of berries. But as other people have mentioned, you don’t need a protein shake right away unless it’s just convenient. Just make sure to get enough total protein, evenly distributed during the day.
The Playbook app is loaded with workouts of all types from many different trainers, and it’s not expensive.
