Miami’s numbers will dip and it’ll be tougher to get the second-tier euro talent that has followed him. The bigger challenge is MLS itself; the retirement parade will fade shortly.

Miami has never really been good. Their defense has always been awful. I wish the Sounders had made it out of group play in the Club World Cup. They’re the only team who deserved to be there and they honestly played the best out of the 3 MLS teams. Also if the MLS raised the salary cap we could get legitimately talent to these clubs

100% what I’m talking about. This artificial parity could easily kill the league but the league/owners have too much short term self interest to do anything about it.
