Got together with a non-crypto friend IRL today. Sounds like he's ready to give up on Facebook. (Paraphrasing: "Not sure why I bother anymore; I'm lucky if I even get 3 likes.")

Of course I talked up Farcaster. He seemed at least vaguely interested. May actually invite him after the dust settles with channels...

I'm meeting this friend again for dinner tomorrow. I think he's still interested in signing up. If so, I plan to walk him through the process and get him onboarded. 

I signed up 18 months ago so I haven't a clue what it's like these days. 

Any suggestions I should share with him or good intro articles to recommend?

Thanks! I'll definitely send this link to him so he can read it before we meet. 

He's completely unfamiliar with crypto (aside from what I talk about when we hang out) so I may have to explain concepts like "non-custodial wallet" and "NFT mints," and I'll tell him he can skip the DEGEN section for now. But this will be a big help as a general overview. The step-by-step onboarding instructions will come in handy.
