Artifact 058 Eight soft-serves later, and Lennon was still delivering for each take. The youngest of the cast, he’s currently wrapping up his journey at Pratt and has already been cast in a handful of major commercials. I’m good friends with his parents, and one evening at dinner Lennon showed me some of his student films. I was struck by how seriously he approached each role. That same dedication carried into this project, where he plays Federico Francis, the younger brother whose main expression is in subtle gestures and body language. The ice cream scene turned out to be our most challenging: sound issues, logistics, unpredictable weather, and it happened on our final morning of shooting. But everyone rallied, especially this young talent.
