Dr. Shefali Tsabary says you can't raise a conscious child from an unconscious state. The parent's unexamined wounds become the child's programming. Fear-based parenting produces compliance — not genuine development.
Put those together and something becomes clear.
AI alignment isn't primarily a technical problem. It's a human development problem.
The quality of what we build is determined by the quality of consciousness we bring to the building. More RLHF doesn't fix an unconscious builder.
The inner work isn't separate from the technical work. It is the technical work.
