2025 Recap — Tougher times right now, but we're all flowing forward 🌊 We started exploring @farcaster roughly a year ago, purely because of the vibes. Got motivated by a few FBI OGs @saxenasaheb, @kunalvg, @gayatri, and @jesse.base.eth's India tour in 2024. Crypto Twitter (X) felt loud, toxic, and empty. Farcaster felt like people who still cared about crypto, its values, and about building. About 7 months ago, we felt a need to make being onchain a lil more fun. We started Trenchverse.🌵 The first two mini-apps didn’t even get noticed. No claps, No likes, Nothing moved. Then BaseDrop flipped everything:- 15,000+ unique users, top-10 trending for almost a month, and love from FC OGs like @dwr, @linda, @ted, @garrett, @horsefacts.eth, @nounishprof Then came BasedRun with @basedevo 10,000+ users, and a wave of support from the based community. There were moments of slouch, sure — days that made us question if this matters. But one thing stayed clear: mini-apps might secretly be one of the best ways to find PMF as an early team. For the last 2 months, we’ve been heads-down building Flow with a simple question:- What if being onchain didn’t always feel loud, stressful, or extractive, and what if you could earn points through fun, not farming? Flow is our most ambitious mini-app so far, but it’s just the start. Check it out for amazing games like Arb Divide with @arbitrum, Celo Signs and Celo Circle with @celo, BasedBlock and BasedConnect with based. With the @baseapp.base.eth launch…the future suddenly feels brighter than ever. And Farcaster is still one of the best places to build in web3, labels don’t matter (wallet first or social first). We’re grateful. We’re still early. Ee’re still shipping. Onwards 🌊
