Encourage should be over there with criticism. We live in a society that loves giving support because it gives them endorphins hits and tells themselves it makes them a good person to do so.

This is true but I see it more as âconstructive criticismâ because lots of people who âencourageâ that way dont do it in a kind manner but more a criticising manner

Iâm not referring to people who give feedback Iâm referring to âyou tell them girlâ, âdonât listen to the hatersâ, âyou live your best lifeâ. If you just look at Tedâs comments itâs 75% supportive with very little critique. Itâs the most common comment I ever read.

Ohhh yes very true very true but I also want to believe that out of that 75%, 50% actually genuinely root for her and not do it just for the gratification This is just me being a silly girl with a positive outlook of life

But does the genuineness actually matter? I feel like if it doesnât matter if the critique isnât genuine to impact us then the support shouldnât matter either.

In a lot of cases no actually it doesnât matter especially over text like you dont know whats genuine or not but the support still reaches you cause you choose to believe its genuine cause if thereâs an optimistic or pessimistic outlook then its better for your mental health to choose the optimistic one But irl you can feel it sometimes and if you feel the support is fake it doesnât really end up helping and can make you feel worse
