The new hoodies on the site are actually kinda gas? Probably a bit overpriced but I like the designs/colors a lot. mslaurynhill.com

I have some tickets for the Miseducation 25th Anniversary tour show in Ontario (California) that I may not be able to sell in time (wanted to go, am sick)
Would anyone here be able to take advantage of them last minute? (also can sell direct)
Have up to 2, close to the front of F3.

MUD dilemma I'm facing: how to get freshly processed state without making an on-chain tx.

Wad numbers are the standard atm (mostly due to ERC20) — but lots of projects are doing stuff not involving tokens that would benefit from the efficiency of binary fixed point.
Some shiny new Solmate/Solady libraries could help?

Seeing @davewhite break down a problem is really fun.
Unlike a lot of other brilliant people who's thought processes can feel impossible to follow (sometimes the divine just speaks through you lol), he consistently tackles stuff just thinking step by step along the lines of a proof by induction.

Need a dataset of driving dashcam videos (or sequential frames, which ofc are equivalent) annotated with whether the driver is turning, and in which direction if so.
Thinking of using Comma 2k19 and auto-annotating the data using the CAN steering_angle.
Open to better ideas.

Imp-ling a MUD game that has some config "values" that are pure functions (e.g. map time passed to growth, etc)
What kind of pattern would you use to implement this most cleanly/idiomatically?
a) Library all systems that need the functions import
b) A system that other systems call
c) ?

Semi-Nitpick: Would love to be able to set a default keySchema.
The default of bytes32 makes it so you can't pack entity ids with anything, and manually overriding every table's keySchema to be a smaller type makes your config much less elegant :p

I know I promised some MUDposting, but honestly been surprised at how boring V2 is, and I mean this a good way.
So far finding this to be a very natural and robust way to organize a codebase — whereas V1 felt a bit unwieldy. The generalized tables abstraction (+ codegen ofc) vs explicit ECS makes a huge difference.

While MTV Unplugged No. 2.0 is mostly preachy gobbledygook, I can't help but love this track.
She genuinely cries during the performance — I think it came from a really genuine place, even if the writing isn't nearly as sharp as Miseducation.
