Big Money Heats Up Participation in BTC
We tracked on-chain transactions over $10 million to measure the share of large capital in total settlement volume. Historically, this ratio averages around 35%.
However, during periods of high volatility, the share of big money surges significantly. For example, when BTC first broke $70K in March 2024, the ratio spiked to 48.9%. In August of the same year, when BTC corrected to $60K, it climbed again to 46.8%.
