IMO farcaster should do a full reset of the engagement "power" for all accounts. The fact that one like from an OG account is worth much more than dozens of likes from "regular" users is just wrong. True trends can't exist this way (especially with how some of those OGs barely engage/reply to others)

Despite your name (😉), I actually looked into it after commenting and learned it's not currently decentralized, not open source, there's no end-to-end encryption, and it looks like the only part of the protocol that currently uses blockchain or cryptography are the usernames. Decentralization as a goal is easy, but unfortunately very few actually get there.
