VanEck executives: Continue to advance Solana ETF plan, S-1 filing remains valid Despite Cboe Global Markets removing the VanEck Solana ETF's 19b-4 filing from its website, VanEck is still committed to its Solana ETF initiative. Matthew Sigel, VanEck's head of digital asset research, confirmed that the S-1 filing remains valid. Cboe applied to the SEC in July to list the Solana ETF and requested a decision by March. Sigel stated that VanEck views Solana (SOL) as a commodity, similar to Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH), based on evolving legal perspectives that distinguish between securities in the primary market and commodities in the secondary market. ✅@Money
