Hard truth: Need a way to make the algo recognize the effort some folks put into a cast, starting to realize that most times it’s not that your cast isn’t smart or funny, neither is it your skill issue—it’s more about your circle.

 For now it’s just a matter of protocol number(reason why just anything doesn’t get engagement only “good stuff”) it’s reality to be More inclined to like casts from friends you know than a stranger(unfortunately).

I hope not. However, this is a current growth strategy for Farcaster and there doesn't seem to be alternatives. All cozy, friend-to-friend social networks like Path and BeReal failed to get traction

In endless feed I think it's less about effort and more about familiarity. pfps and names you know are going to be more prominent compared to high quality casts.

For a high quality content I think bulletin boards were a perfect medium for that. Miss them vm.

well, yeah, with all these little tricks people are using with amps and the like, it's magnifying and paying for attention. I make arguably the best content on this platforom, but am I given the requisite attention? NO!
