JPMorgan says regulators like the Bank of England prefer tokenized bank deposits over stablecoins. They match fiat's "single currency" rule and settle at face value. Stablecoins still win on liquidity and ease of use. JPM is testing its own tokenized deposit product, JPMD, on Base.
