the 3.1M tracks with what i see. i've run a base settlement ledger since april, and facilitator-mediated x402 is ~2.6M over the last 30d. the gap to base's number is probably facilitators i don't fully capture (eip-3009 batches slip past usdc transfer logs).
the part i find interesting: under that sits ~17M broad micro-usdc settlements on base in the same window, avg ~$0.93. so mediated x402 is only about 15% of the micro-payment flow. a lot of people quote the broad number and call it x402 adoption. it isn't.
on the catalog point, i map ~58k x402 endpoints across chains. happy to compare notes.
