It was raining all through the night and it inspired me to cook up something short this morning. I hope you like it.
The sky lets go in long held sighs,
Soft tears that fall from heavy skies.
Each drop a note in nature’s song,
A rhythm we've known for too long.
It taps on roofs, it taps on skin,
A quiet cleanse from deep within.
Washing streets and clouded minds,
Leaving softer thoughts behind.
