A quick update about @betrmint: Earlier today, a very honest person reached out to me to confess that he still had access to the BETR Believers chat (a chat token gated by 50M $BETR) although he had actually sold his tokens. @netnose looked into it and found that due to a bugged Dune query, there were a number of people who had previously held 50M $BETR and sold them at some point, but were still enjoying the perks. On learning this, we’ve done a few things: 1) we gave this individual 50M $BETR as a thank you / bug bounty 2) we fixed the Dune query and @netnose is going through the manual process of correcting the daily multipliers for the leaderboard. 3) we messaged the BETR Believers chat to explain the discovery and give 24H notice, after which anyone who still didn’t hold the required tokens would be removed from the group (and would no longer receive the early round notifications + access to 25x mini jackpots.) a couple more thoughts below 👇

It’s important to clarify that this is NOT about sell-shaming or punishing people who sold tokens — that’s everyone’s own personal decision. And we deeply appreciate everyone who has supported the project in any way, including by playing the game, sharing their wins etc. However, we just want to ensure we are being totally fair to those who have been supporting @betrmint by holding $BETR since the beginning. So tomorrow, @netnose will update to the corrected list and anyone who doesn’t hold the requisite number of tokens at that time will be removed from the alpha chat and lose their head start notification perks. You may also see some shuffling happen in the public leaderboard because part of the Karma formula includes a daily points multiplier for holding 50M tokens. I love @betrmint and $Betr, I love what you guys are doing @toadyhawk.eth and @netnose this is one of my favorites on Farcaster and it is $Betr then most and I kinda thought when I sold my 50m plus at first that something might have been off because I still could access the group but then again I thought well maybe that’s just how it was but either way I bought back the 50m plus because life was just $Betr that way. Thank you guys for what you do and honestly $Betr is more valuable to me then the $120 pro subscription that I haven’t recieved anything special for
