$COAL is just a really fun experiment. ICYMI, @kompreni and @niftytime.eth prompted folks to deposit a number of dead or almost dead coins into his Upgrader app and “smelted” them together into a new liquid token called $COAL over the holidays. Fees from the migration went to purchase some good app coins like $BRACKY, $QR and $BETR and those are being doled out to stakers. I just claimed about $30 from a week of staking.
