The above is exacerbated by the fact that in the crypto space in particular, the protocols and brands most likely to want to sponsor you in the traditional media sense are often the ones you should least want to promote to your audience.
Onchain revenue (creator rewards, protocol rewards) can start to fill the gap but itโs far from a sustainable flywheel yet.
Maybe it should be me who writes about this more ๐
