“Starter Drops” What’s the real value prop of FC token drops? It’s that here, giving out tokens is just the *start* of something, not the end-all-be-all. - The start of a user using a new App. - The start of a new team being part of FC. And it can be small. $7 is not weird… it’s the start of something.

(PS - I also like that it’s a companion primitive to “Starter Packs”. Kind of serves the same role for Apps coming over here, actually.)

Thinking the name should align to the goal since they vary so widely but starter drop could cover most of them 🙌 User acquisition/engagement Targeted awareness Decentralization/governance Liquidity/market creation Rerto to early supporters Warming cold-start network effects Building an ecosystem …. It’s super interesting to me that MerkleM is ‘dropping’ Rewards- seem like a better fit in a few cases.

Changing the name? Not a solution IMO Cause there’s no any real problem to solve… i mean not every project has to be a success, the ones with good plans will succeed no matter what is the drop name. You said something very important “ it’s the start of something “ ….and as long as that’s the case, everything will be alright.

Think a more accurate name is a “Pitch” Drop. They are pitching their app / token to farcaster users. And im assuming hoping to onboard some of them
