I recently helped a friend prepare for a high-level US Gov job interview using claude code. In a few hours of my time, I was able to: + Prime myself on how selection actually worked (deep research from official and unofficial forums) + Create a realistic interview format, including how timing and conversation is handled. + Rank answers using a grading guide. + Feed all that + the entire interview and debrief transcript to Claude. + Send my friend an insightful two-pager on the most actionable insights from our practice interview – as distilled my me and my friend in our debrief, but then improved by claude using its own reasoning + triangulation w reddit forums of people who have spoken about the interview process before. In the past I would have had to spend a few days to do something of this level of actual helpfulness? Or a week? Or was it even really possible? I continue to be blown away and inspired by what we can do with this technology.
