"Excuse me, teacher, but I deserved an A." I like the categories of grading here, but the criterion for "Originality" feels a bit capricious. Examples are only one way of being original. I'd argue that connect the daily word to a high context person in the community is pretty original and effective (though admittedly difficult to judge if the AI doesnt know the person mentioned).
