10 Things I Hate About Opus
(Some personal observations from spending a few days on a wide variety of tasks with Fable - deep research, product design, ops, coding - after using Opus for a few months)
1. Fable is better at reporting only the things that matter, not "report, then correct mid paragraph."
2. Fable uses less fluffy, overly polite language.
3. Fable is better at taking initiative on unexpressed sub-tasks.
4. Fable is better at skipping not really important sub-tasks.
5. Fable uses Plan Box more, and with better recommended choices.
6. Fable writes code more decisively, less performatively.
7. Fable is more willing to correct my false premises without checking.
8. Fable is more relentless, doesn't try to gaslight me away from things that are costly or hard.
9. Fable takes my expressed "personality" preferences more seriously.
10. Fable codes more holistically - looks into second and third order consequences of it's builds / edits.
Dont think I'd ever really use Opus w/o cost advantage.
