Everybody wants to prognosticate about AI, but the actually interesting question is: What can we do *right now*?

I have never seen anything like this technology. It is a literal superpower. But how to build it into productive experiences begins with acknowledging its current constraints as much as its abilities.

Also think that hyperpersuasive ai is dangerous.

But in near total agreement with the rest.

I think there’s too big a jump in the first point’s logic that since we’re empirically polytheistic now, that’s what we should expect going forward.

Seems easy enough to imagine a scenario where some labs ai is now good enough to make itself better at a pace that other labs can’t keep up with.

Which would then turn monotheistic real quick.
