A small but important experience I want to share for long-time Farcaster users.
If you’ve ever rotated / changed your recovery phrase (custody), be careful. At the protocol level your FID stays the same, but some snapshot/retro systems may misread your history if they don’t fully replay the data.
I joined in February 2024, but after a custody rotation in October 2025, some indexers showed data as if my account was new.
I believe this may have affected the $SNAP allocation I received.
Lesson: before changing your phrase, understand the impact on your identity & retro eligibility. And don’t casually revoke old signers.
